Apple’s iPhone 17

Apple unveiled its brand new phones, the iPhone 17 series. That's updates to three known models and the brand-new iPhone 17 Air, that replaces the Plus. If waiting in line on release day isn't your style, and you still need to grab one right away, you will be able to reserve the iPhone 17, 17 Pro, 17 Pro Max or iPhone Air from 10pm AEST on September 12, in advance of the September 19th release date.

The iPhone 17 gets a redesigned look with a slightly larger 6.3-inch display and narrower edges. And after years of waiting (and a lot of grumbling), the base iPhone 17 finally gets a 120Hz refresh rate.

Under the hood, Apple’s new A19 chip is quicker and also more efficient, especially when teamed up with Apple Intelligence. If you are upgrading from an older iPhone, you will notice a huge bump in speed and better gaming performance courtesy of ProMotion.

The iPhone 17 will come in black, white, steel gray, light blue, green, and purple.

The iPhone 17 Air is set to come in black, white, light gold and sky blue.

The Pro and Pro Max models will be offered in colours including blue, orange and silver.
